Анотація

Обґрунтування. Сучасне розуміння здоров’я пов’язане з необхідністю профілактики хвороб, спричинених інфекціями, способом життя, екологією та генетикою. Українське законодавство гарантує здоров’язбереження, але практика реалізації законів є недосконалою. Велике значення для профілактики хвороб має викладання валеологічних дисциплін у закладах освіти. Але зміст цих дисциплін потребує постійного перегляду з точки зору доказової медицини, а створення нових профілактичних програм – теоретичного обґрунтування.
Мета. Визначити зміст та практичне значення сучасного розуміння здоров’язбереження в охороні громадського здоров’я та освіті.
Матеріали і методи. Використані методи бібліосемантичний та системного аналізу.
Результати. Теорія здоров’я та здоров’язбереження розглянута з використанням крос-культурного, дискурсивного, нормоцентричного, феноменологічного, холістичного, аксіологічного та інтегрального підходів, з точки зору доказової та «4Р» медицини. Здоров’язбереження показано як похідне від здорового способу життя та сформованої у населення валеологічної компетентності. Кращим середовищем для формування здорового способу життя показано освіне середовище, інструментами формування – валеологічні дисципліни та просвітництво медико-соціальних громадських організацій. Визначена необхідність спільних зусиль населення та медичних працівників у досягненні кращих результатів профілактики соціально значущих хвороб.
Висновки. Вдосконалення профілактичного напрямку валеологічної освіти тісно пов’язане з компетентнісний підходом, зокрема, з формуванням валеологічної компетентності. Система охорони громадського здоров’я має використовувати потенціал освітніх валеологічних програм для формування здорового способу життя у нових поколінь протягом навчання у закладах вищої освіти. Для формування якісних валеологічних програм необхідне постійне партнерство освітян та медичних працівників.
