Анотація

Формування валеологічної компетентності у здобувачів вищої немедичної освіти є невирішеною педагогічною проблемою, про що свідчать відсутність визначення валеологічної компетентності за назвою та змістом в нормативно-правових актах України та в національних стандартах вищої освіти, вимог до рівнів сформованості цієї компетентності залежно від освітнього рівня здобувачів освіти, стандарту вищої валеологічної освіти. Існуючи підручники валеологічних дисциплін також недосконалі. На тлі важливості здоров’я, особистого та громадського, для профілактики соціально значущих хвороб з керованими та умовно керованими факторами ризику вирішення проблеми формування валеологічної компетентності у здобувачів вищої немедичної освіти є обов’язковою вимогою для реалізації державної політики профілактики захворювань. В оглядовій статті проаналізоване становлення валеології як науки, ставлення до неї суспільства та наукової спільноти, зв'язок із законодавством України про здоров’я та здоров’язбереження, різні погляди на розуміння валеологічної компетентності, яку формують валеологічні дисципліни. Порівняні окремі аспекти формування валеологічної компетентності у здобувачів вищої медичної та вищої немедичної освіти. Розглянуті зв’язки валеологічної компетентності із культурою здоров’я. Зроблено висновок про те, що валеологічна компетентність є інструментом формування здорового способу життя та безпечної поведінки. Ми також вважаємо за необхідно покращувати ставлення суспільства та наукової спільноти до валеології за рахунок критичного переосмислення змісту навчальних програм валеологічних дисциплін. Перш за все це стосується виключення з них питань, які не витримали перевірку за критеріями доказової медицини.
