Анотація

У статті розглядається роль проточної цитометрії в оцінці профілів біосумісності та безпеки наноматеріалів. Проточна цитометрія дозволяє характеризувати вплив різноманітних екзогенних факторів на популяції клітин за рахунок здатності реєструвати оптичні та флуоресцентні характеристики клітин одночасно аналізуючи кілька параметрів. У цьому огляді описано застосування проточної цитометрії для оцінки редокс-стану клітин, життєздатності та різних видів клітинної смерті (апоптоз, некроз, некроптоз, піроптоз, аутофагія) та прозапальних ефектів наночастинок.

Проточна цитометрія дозволяє проводити аналіз профілів безпеки наноматеріалів швидко, інформативно, досить дешево і багатогранно, враховуючи ключові механізми токсичної дії нанорозмірних матеріалів. Останні технологічні досягнення у проточній цитометрії та доступність комерційних автоматичних лічильників клітин роблять проточну цитометрію зручним інструментом дослідження у in vitro нанотоксикології. Однак автори бачать необхідність у розробці стандартизованих протоколів проточної цитометрії для тестування нанотоксичності.
